Ten percent of Mahdee Studios’ net profits are committed to the Juah Higher Education Movement, a mission-driven initiative supporting young women in Liberia as they progress through college and prepare for professional and community leadership.
Why Juah exists
Juah began with a real family need: helping someone young cope with change, adjustment, and the emotional weight that can come with a new school environment.
What started as a personal concern became a broader purpose. We asked a simple question: could a small, thoughtful app help someone pause, breathe, check in, and feel a little less alone?
Juah is not a replacement for healthcare, counseling, or trusted human support. It is a gentle daily companion for reflection, calming tools, emotional awareness, and personal growth. It is designed to be approachable, affordable, and respectful of privacy.

JHEM provides financial assistance and mentorship to young women in their second through fourth years of college, with a focus on helping students continue beyond the critical first-year transition.
The long-term vision is to build a continuous educational pipeline — from secondary education, through higher education, and into professional and community leadership. Each participant is encouraged to become part of the support system for future participants.

JHEM is designed around sustained, community-based support. The model includes high school mentorship, college peer mentorship, cohort-based accountability, and alumni involvement. This structure reinforces persistence, leadership, and long-term sustainability.
